LCD tv main/digital board

Is there somewhere I can send off the main/digital board to my Toshiba 32HL57 lcd tv and have repaired? That is the problem, I'm told. Flickering, dark and seemingly slow motion picture.

    Good idea :-)

We have the same boards at competitive prices, but if you wish you can send the circuit too us and I will repair it for less than the cost of purchasing another board, even if you would purchase the board from us.

And we will match any refurbish board warranty :-)

    Keep this in mind:

There could be other circuit components in your tv causing this problem inversely. Honestly, your best bet would be too have a professional technician in your area diagnose the root cause. A professional service technician will test for critical waveforms. Circuit waveforms indicate the overall health of your entire tv. There maybe other problems laying dormant as a result of your initial problem. Professional servicing centers will also tune and adjust software values after a repair. This affects the tv's intuitiveness when mixing and processing input signals. Proper signal timing and data sequencing equals optimum performance integrity. As a bonus from professional service, your tv will (or should) be upgraded with the latest media software. This expands your tv's compatibility with media input. Most upgrade software are now "backward compatible" which is good news for first generation media formats being accepted by your tv.

Which ever way you choose to resolve your tv problem I hope it works out successfully.

You can check this website to find the part you are looking for. It might be cheaper to replace it instead of repairing. Check the part number from the main/digital board before ordering.
Good Luck.

How do I remove the stand from a toshiba 32hl57 tv

  • 1 & 2 Remove all cables and lay down towels on a clear space.
  • 3 Set the 32HL57, screen side down, onto the towels gently.
  • 4 Locate the four screws at the bottom center of the TV. These screws attach the stand to the Toshiba 32HL57.
  • 5 Using the Phillips screwdriver, unscrew all four screws, one at a time.
  • 6 Once the screws are completely removed, grab the base of the stand and gently pull away from the TV.

46RV535U 46 in. HDTV LCD TV where is the fuse

There are several fuses on the power supply board.

Usually the one that fails is not the main AC line fuse (which is close to the AC line input), but the PFC fuse located, you guessed it, next to the PFC regulator IC on the board.

When the PFC fuse is blown (measuring open) you also need to replace the PFC IC and possibly other components on the board. Most of the time the PFC is sufficient though.

Here's a link for repair service for the board:
    http://www.coppelltvrepair.com/p/751/toshiba-46rv535u-power-supply-board-repair-service-for-dead-refusing-to-power-tv-or-faint-display-problem

Also search there for the TV model, we may have repair kits or exchange services available!

    Hope this helps!

7inch vertical color lines right side of screen all th time

    Hi.

This website has the service manual ($7.79) with instructions to diagnose the boards. Unfortunately I am afraid that the problem is not a board but the panel itself.

Thin vertical lines in the middle of the picture mean that the panel is gone. Here an example of lines from bad panel in Toshiba LCD:Line Picture. (discussion: Avsforum). Sometimes the lines can be dark or in bright color.

The panel costs $339 (LCD PANEL ASSY).

Because of the price of the panel, the TV is not worth repairing unless under warranty.

Even if the TV is out of warranty call Toshiba and report the problem. As you can see in AVSforum page above the problem is affecting many users.

If Toshiba doesn't offer special conditions on repair (or discount on new), the TV is not worth repairing. Replacement of the digital board will hardly be a solution.

Only if you have wide bands, scrambled or flickering, then the problem is digital board (main board) or panel. If you have the thin pixel lines, then the panel is gone.

I have atoshiba 32 inch television and the motherboard gone bad. please give me places were to find a replacement ?

Well it depends on what the TV model is.

For the 32AV502R in particular if you can't find a replacement main board or if you are not actually certain the problem is in the main board to begin with it may be worth checking the failure symptoms and proposed repair service offerred here:

Toshiba LCD TV AV500E Turns off then on every 5 minutes

It sounds to me that the Main board is causing the problem. But I would get in touch with Toshiba for a warranty repair. It has a one year parts and labor warranty. It makes it a lot cheaper for the pocket.
