Question about D-Link DWA-645 (ASKU48532) Wireless Adapter

DWA-645 causes Notebook freezing

After I had purchased a DWA-645 for a laptop I connected to any wifi network it freezes after I push it into my slot. In the absence of the DWA-645 my notebook functions normally. I have disabled the pre-existing notebook lan and wlan adapters. I had installed the DWA-645 using device manager and selecting the driver inf on the CD provided. Although I do not understand the conflict that causes the notebook to hang? Despite numerous attempts to resolve the problem. I may believe that the problem may be hardware based. I do not believe that I could be the only individual that is experiencing the problem. Thank You.

Instead of disabling all other adapters, I would suggest you try to unistall their drivers. Think carefully first though, because you want to make sure that you have the drivers JUST IN CASE before you delete any, you may have a conflict due to multiple wireless adapter drivers on the pc.

Disconnects immediately and lower signal strength if not close (10feet) of router.

Check the settings and see if there is a way to turn the power up. Do you have another wifi card you can try? If other wireless cards connect from 100 feet with no problem it might be your wireless card.

Adapter locks up, have to reboot to get it to run

How often do you reset your computer and your wireless router. (not when it messes up) You should reset your ocmputer at least once a day. This also could depend on you bandwitdh. if your constantly downloading programs music etc, this can cause both your wireless card and your router to freeze which would require a restart. You also might want to check and make sure you have the most updated driver. To check your driver version right click my computer and select "Manage" in the windows goto
Computer management -> system tools -> device manager -> network adapters and right click your device and select properties. Goto the "Device" tab and look at driver version / date. if it is not 1.70 update it at http://www.dlink.com/products/default.aspx?pid=DWA-552&tab=3 and select driver.

Just bought a D-Link DWA-125 Wireless 150 USB Adapter. My internet speed is slow and often the web browser freezes. When I connect direct I have no issues.

A little more info would be helpful. What speed do you consider slow? Also, what web sites are you visiting? Finally, have you confirmed that you have the latest driver software installed for the adapter and is your windows (and browser) software up to date? Check Windows Task manager (Control-shift-escape) to see if your PC is already suffering from high utilization, the wireless adapter will drive it a bit higher. If you have several apps running in the background that are driving utilization up try stopping them. You may have to choose between convenience and performance if you are pushing the PC too hard.

Sorry I don't have a solution - but am experiencing the exact same problem! The D-Link Connection wizard tells me "Wireless adapter not found! Please insert it now." when it is already installed, inserted and picking up signals well. Just disconnects from the internet after a second or two every time.
Did you find any solution that could help? I'd love to hear it!

How do I make my dlink dwa-130c wireless adapter work with xbox 360 for xbox live

Bridge the Connections. In other words, plug in the internet cable into the xbox, and the other end into your desktop or laptop. After this is done, select both the wireless and the local connections (go to your network connections) and right click on the "Wireless Network Connection" icon. Hit "Bridge Connections" and it should work. REMEMBER that the Xbox WIFI will turn off if the computer does.

Does this happen if you try connecting it into all USB ports? Try another USB port. Do you know if your USB ports are 2.0?
