Question about D-Link DWA-645 (ASKU48532) Wireless Adapter
After I had purchased a DWA-645 for a laptop I connected to any wifi network it freezes after I push it into my slot. In the absence of the DWA-645 my notebook functions normally. I have disabled the pre-existing notebook lan and wlan adapters. I had installed the DWA-645 using device manager and selecting the driver inf on the CD provided. Although I do not understand the conflict that causes the notebook to hang? Despite numerous attempts to resolve the problem. I may believe that the problem may be hardware based. I do not believe that I could be the only individual that is experiencing the problem. Thank You.
Instead of disabling all other adapters, I would suggest you try to unistall their drivers. Think carefully first though, because you want to make sure that you have the drivers JUST IN CASE before you delete any, you may have a conflict due to multiple wireless adapter drivers on the pc.
