Question about Kenwood KGC-6042A 9-Band Car Equalizer
Want to know best settings for great bass and treble for my system on a 9 band kenwood eq
Provided the rest of your system is all tuned an in proper shape, and up for the wattts, the best sound to set, starting with the low end...start with is a slightly elevated above zero (about 1/4 up from zero) then slowly gradually slope it down to 1/4 below zero in middle and then back up to 1/4 above at the high end.
The result is a gently curved V type shape.
Now, knock down the highest 2 or 3 freq bands a few clicks till they are just above zero. (1/8).
This is the curve you would shoot for with a real-time analyzer for SQ, punch and clarity.
