Question about Acer Aspire 5100 Notebook
Somehow, the sound went out on my computer, just randomly. i've tried installing sound drivers numerous times and nothing works. that's the first thing i need fixed. i then tried to just install windows vista again to try and solve the problem, but now i have windows installed twice on the same platform with no clue how to fix either of the situations.
my laptop is an acer aspire 5100. any help is appreciated.
Um, this may sound silly, but you wouldn't believe how many people simply have the volume turned off in the volume properties. I would then check speaker connections, check that they are still recognized in the device manager, and if all appears well, it may be just a sound card that just up and bit the dust.
