Good Day,

You can check if there's a wireless button on the laptop, just turn it on. Usually it is located on the left side. If you cannot see anything, press Fn+ look for any icon on you F1-F12, check if you can see an antenna or signal. Press it together with the Fn key.

If you need assistance you can reply back. Thank you.

WHY DOESN`T MY HP,LAPTOP.CONNECT TO WIRELES TRANSMITER.

Make sure you didn't disturb the wireless card inside the laptop. Check the connections for the wireless card antennas (usually a gray wire and black wire). Also some laptops have a little on and off switch, to turn on and off the wireless. Please make yours is on. I've had a few clients with the same problem and turned out the switch was accidentally turned off. Good luck

Acer drop internet connection, not locating wireless connections Acer problems with wireless connections

You haven't provided us with much information, but I'd suggest a couple of things:
Check to see if your wireless adapter in the computer is turned on or off. Some computers have a little switch on the front or side that turns the wireless on. If on, somewhere on the computer there should be a small light lit up indicating that the wireless is on.
If there is no switch, then the wireless adapter may be turned on or off by a keyboard combo of the Fn key plus one of the special function keys. That particular key will have a little icon that resembles an antenna on it.
If you are unable to solve the problem by using the switch, try to do a system restore back to when it was working.

Don't know how to setup wireless toshiba satellite pro 6100 pc notebook

Most Toshiba 6100s come standard with wireless cards installed. If you're unsure, just turn on the WiFI antenna switch (near its SD card slot) and see if the WiFi access LED lights up (the WiFi LED is the rightmost LED on the front of the unit) -- if it lights up, then you've got a stock Wireless card in your system.

Email me if you can't determine which card you have.

You might of accidentally turned off your wireless capabilities. Most laptops have some sort of switch or button which you can press that turns off and on the internet. Make sure you didn't hit it on accident.

How do I turn on my HP mini notebook wireless connection? It says that the connection is turned off, but it was working fine last night? What happened? HELP!

Look at your notebook's front edge, below the keyboard and touchpad.
To the left of the touchpad you have the on/off switch, to the right there is a wireless on/off switch, with an antenna symbol beside it.

You must have switched it off accidentally :)

Where is the Internet button located on NEC 3100 Laptop. I have wireless internet but it will not connect. Have been assisted ny the Internet provider. Looks like the laptop internet button is turned off....

You can manually disable the Wireless connection on mostly all laptops/tablet pc's. Check either on the left or on the bottom. It is a button (Picture: it has a tower with waves coming from it) that you can either slide forward and backward, or a button that you press to turn on and off. Why do they have these on laptops???? Well that's for another time! It will NEVER connect if this button is turned off, or disabled. Again, you have to make sure that it is NOT manually disabled first, sometimes you might not ever know that you "accidentally" turned it off with you fingers, but trust me if you can not connect at all, than that is what is wrong.
