Question about Canon PIXMA MP160 All-In-One InkJet Printer
An 'E' and a ' 5' keep flasing on the display one after the other, and an alert mesage on the pc screen announces 'maintenance in progress. perform scanning when completed'. can the problem be that there is no ink cartridge?
Not sure if this a solution, but I think error E5 is that the cartridge is missing or in the wrong position, even if you just use black ink you must have both carts in.
