Question about Microsoft Office Outlook 2003 for PC
How do I turn off the annoying sound alerts every time I receive a new message, etc on my Facebook application on my blackberry?
On your blackberry, go to the "Profiles" application. It usually looks like a speaker.
Once there, scroll down to the bottom, and click on "Advanced..."
Once there it will list all your profiles, highlight the one that you are using (probably Normal) and click your menu button. Choose "Edit".
You should now see a Facebook application listed, scroll down and open that. This screen now should show you want notifications you get when it is out of the holster and in the holster. You can change it to one of these options...
Tone & vibrate
Choose what you would like it to do, and then make sure you change the in-holster option also. You can also change how it notifies you with calls, sms, calendar, etc from here.
Hope this helps.
