Normal 0 I suggest you get a sheet of Card Stock (Heavy paper) and place it in the feed way. Then press the print button applying a slight amount of pressure on the Card Stock so it will feed through the printer. The reason for this is in some cases I have been able to clear the paper track of debris that was deposited there over time.
Worth a try, as I have fixed a number of printers this way, saving costly repairs.
Hope this helps. Bud

Paper jam at exit

Have you set the tray to thick cardstock in the printer?
If not try that. This will let thicker paper go through more easily.
Make sure you bot have the tray as the printjob set up as the same type of paper.
How much does the paper weigh?
Also try printing from the manual feed. You're paper path is shorter that way and easier for the printer to handle.
Does it only jam on this type of paper?
Might be a fuser easy but don't think that's the case with this one.

Paper mismatch officejet 6500 crumples

There could be a foreign object or torn piece of paper that's stuck further inside the printer mechanism path. Try using a flashlight and inspecting any access or clean out hatches. Sometimes something will be caught inside and cause the paper you feed in to crumple and create a jam. I watched a video on youtube giving different ideas on how to fix this problem. Paper jam error after last page prints

Hi Natoli3,
This could be a mis-match of paper sizes. Example, computer could be sending an A4 page to the printer. The paper size in the could be set to Letter. Ensure the 4 paper sizes match, in the computer - the document and printer driver; in the printer (change in control panel) and paper tray (adjust the physical side and length).

Paper Mis-Feeding

Check for any pieces of torn paper in the path, especially on the left side. You can also reach into the slot that the paper feeds into and feel each of the rollers behind the plastic cover; they all should turn freely, pay special attention to the wheel to the left.
