My son dropped pennies and nickles into the CD player of my Fiat 500. Took it to the dealership. The radio was working fine no other issues and now the power is gone to the radio the heating console and the odometer is flashing. The blue tooth doesnt work etc.. i was told it is a fuse. I was having intermittent issues prior to this CD problem with the bluetooth not working and random warning lights appearing. Could the coins have caused the problem or could there have been issue with the fuse that created this problem?

<grin> I don't know why or how this ended up under the category of Fiat 2006 X1/9 - I'd like to have one but I think I will have to be satisfied with my '87 Bertone instead-
I would highly recommend you have a shop replace the sensor (very soon!) with a pressure gauge to measure the pressure directly to make certain you aren't dealing with a failed or obstructed oil pump.
This will only take a few minutes and shouldn't cost much.
If your engine isn't clattering, I suspect the replacement sensor isn't any good either.

hi comman fault on these vans is the temp sender which is located on the right hand side of the engine it has 2 wires on a connector that plug onto it they are quite cheap about £8-£10 and i think its a 19mm spanner you will need just undo and refit with new one. regards
