Here's the answer I found straight from Pioneer:

If your car CD player is a 2006 model or newer:

  • With the ignition on and radio OFF,
  • Press and hold the MULTI-CONTROL button for 2 seconds
  • Rotate MULTI-CONTROL button until display reads CLOCK.
  • Push MULTI-CONTROL button up or down to adjust hour and minutes.
  • Press ESCAPE or SOURCE button to exit

If your car CD player is newer than 2000 but older than 2006:

  • With the ignition on and radio OFF, press and hold the FUNCTION button, until the display pops up, then release the button.
  • (If you do not have a function button, use the AUDIO button instead).
  • Press the FUNCTION button again until the clock shows on the display.
  • Press the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hours.
  • Press the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to move to the minutes.
  • Press the UP and DOWN to adjust the minutes.
When you've completed all the steps, just press the SOURCE button to exit
    .

If your car CD player is 1999 or older:

  • With the ignition on and radio OFF,
  • While holding down the CLOCK button, press the number preset button to set the hour.
  • While holding down the CLOCK button, press the number 2 preset button to set the minutes.
  • Pressing the respective buttons consecutively or continuously will advance the hour and minute.

I have a EEQ MOSFET 50wx4 car stereo. NO MANUAL......can't figure out how to set the clock. CAN YOU HELP???? Pioneer website is not too user friendly!!

I have same problem. Try this link for the manual (similar model) http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/PUSA/Products/CarAudioVideo/In-Dash/CD-Players/DEH-P6500?tab=D
click on owners manual, half way down. Once its downloaded page 32 talks through clock settings. You have to switch the headunit off at the source button - Good Luck.

How to set the time

Hi, I have a Pioneer DEH-2950MP and manual had wrong instructions for setting clock. Took me hours, but instead of "Function" as manual stated or as someone suggested "Audio", found that "Source" button held in with stereo in off mode brought up flashing clock to enable resetting. Try that. Good luck !

Set clock on Pioneer DEH-P4400 car stereo

I GUESS, YOU DON'T HAVE OWNERS MANUAL. I RAN INTO THE SIMILAR PROBLEM, HAVING THE MANUAL ON HAND. YOU MUST BE VERY PATIENT: THERE IS A SEQUENCE OF MOTIONS TO SET THE CLOCK: THERE ARE COUPLE BUTTONS, I.E: SEL(ECT), ADJUST(VOLUME CONTROL) OR +/- BUTTONS. USUALLY "SEL" MUST BE HELD FOR A FEW SECONDS, THEN YOU SCROLL TO FEATURE : BASS, TREBLE, LOUD, ETC. USE VOLUME OR SCROLL BUTTONS TILL YOU REACH "SET CLOCK." SOMETIMES: + CHANGE HOUR, - CHANGE MINUTES. AND SO ON. BUT: GET OWNERS MANUAL, IF POSSIBLE. OTHERWISE, IT WILL DRIVE YOU CRAZY AND TIME CONSUMING.
TRY "GOOGLE"
