Here's the answer I found straight from Pioneer:

If your car CD player is a 2006 model or newer:

  • With the ignition on and radio OFF,
  • Press and hold the MULTI-CONTROL button for 2 seconds
  • Rotate MULTI-CONTROL button until display reads CLOCK.
  • Push MULTI-CONTROL button up or down to adjust hour and minutes.
  • Press ESCAPE or SOURCE button to exit

If your car CD player is newer than 2000 but older than 2006:

  • With the ignition on and radio OFF, press and hold the FUNCTION button, until the display pops up, then release the button.
  • (If you do not have a function button, use the AUDIO button instead).
  • Press the FUNCTION button again until the clock shows on the display.
  • Press the UP and DOWN buttons to adjust the hours.
  • Press the LEFT and RIGHT arrows to move to the minutes.
  • Press the UP and DOWN to adjust the minutes.
When you've completed all the steps, just press the SOURCE button to exit
    .

If your car CD player is 1999 or older:

  • With the ignition on and radio OFF,
  • While holding down the CLOCK button, press the number preset button to set the hour.
  • While holding down the CLOCK button, press the number 2 preset button to set the minutes.
  • Pressing the respective buttons consecutively or continuously will advance the hour and minute.

Hi,
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
goodluck!

depending on the model. With the car on, shut off the head unit.

Press and hold either source or src, or function, or mode until a menu comes up which will allow you to set the clock as well as other functions of the radio.

How do I set the clock on this thing. can never remember from one time to the next. thanx

In right corner is "A" (Audio) button. Turn stereo off and hold "A" button until clock comes on. Hour will blink. Use up and down "Select" keys to set. Then use right "Select" key to switch to minutes. Use up and down keys to set minutes. Push "A" button when you're done.

I did this on a different stereo but I'm pretty sure its the same.

The model number you gave is an FM modulated Disc changer made by pioneer. It does not have a clock on it. What is the make and the model number of the head unit in the car?

Go to Pioneer's website and look up your model number.
Yes, you need your model number.
You should be able to find a user's manual there.

Knowing newer Pioneer's, with the power off, press and hold the function button until a menu comes up, then press to advance to clock settings.
