Question about Philips HTS-6500/37 System
I have an HTS8100 from philips. I had this hooked up to my TV and I am getting green pixels all over the screen. We thought it may be the cable so tried 2 differnt HDMI cables with the same issue, tried differnt HDMI ports on the TV that we know work. We also went and bought another one had the same issue, then took it to a friends house and had the same issue on his TV. Can anyone help with this issue??? What is the cause of this problem and is there a fix?
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

You just remove batteries , unplug all cables, then put everything back together. This will reset the unit to factory settings.

Same problem with my HTS8100. Little-to-no sound. Sometimes sound comes on very intermittently. I downloaded the software patch from the Philips website and installed it. This fixed the sound problem for about a week, then the problem came back. I'm not sure what else to do.
