Main menu flashing with icon of lock that opens and closes
The main menus flashes, can't put cursor on it, then disappears then comes back. the menu displays, colour, positiongs, resolutions, exit. Then all of a sudden a lock appears in the middle of the screen, First it's locked then flashed closed, then open, then closed.

Hello, In order to resolve the OSD menu locked error: 1.You must reset the on screen display in the menu. 2.Hold down the Menu button for at least 60 seconds. 3.A menu list will appear on your monitor screen. 4.Using the adjust button, press the arrows to enter the menu. 5.Scroll down to the Reset section. 6.On the right side of your screen, you will see an alternating Yes/No choice. 7.When the Yes message flashes, press the Ok button. 8.The menu should be reset and the flashing OSD control message should disappear.

Please try to Turn the monitor off. Hold down the Menu button while the monitor is turned off, then press the Power button again to turn the monitor back on. This should unlock your OSD menu and remove that message from your screen. best regards
ok, get to the event where you get this to happen "...then turn it back on the monitor does come on normally...", but just after power-up, press the F8 key to go to safe mode. If nothing visible, press ENTER anyway...get to safe mode yet?
