Question about Washing Machines
What would cause my washer not to do a final high speed spin? Leaves the clothes quite wet. It does spin fast during rince cycles and g the final spin cycle but will not go into the very fast spin required to sipn out excess water. a couple weeks ago my washing machine was making a loud banging, clicking, ratcheting type noise after it was done spinning. That noise seems to have gone away. But, Now my clothes are pretty wet when the washer is finished with the final spin and I hear a squeaky noise when it's finished spinning. My washer is a Whirlpool LSN1000PQ3 top loader. It does agitate and spin. Just not sure If I'm getting the high speed spin that gets the rest of the water out of my clothes. When I do a small load the clothes seem to be drier than when I do a bigger load.
Hi, i would suggest the timer/programmer is faultyas it is ok on the other cycles, the noises you have described may have caused some damage,
