Most people use hot water to wash their hair, firstly it feels more comfortable but also it seems to remove the excess shampoo and conditioner better.

But when you have finished washing your hair, try and do your final rinse with ice cold water as this closes and flattens the hair cuticles and adds to the shine.

My Bosch vision 300/500 DLX series washing machine continually dispenses hot water no matter what cycle I have dialed in. What can I do?

if it's hot and cold fill machine , have you got the hoses connected correctly hot to hot supply , cold hose to cold mains supply
if its cold supply only to machine , make sure it's not connected to hot water supply, this could be worth checking.

I have a Whirlpool washer GHW9150PW0 and it always washes on hot water, no matter if I set the temperature on cold. I turned off the hot water faucet and still the wash comes out warm. What is the problem?

these washers sense the water temperature that comes in to them and automatically adjust the temperature by turning on the hot and cold valve on make sure both your water valves on the wall are on all the way and water is coming out of each

No matter what the temp setting is at it only has very hot water

Your water temp is determined by 2 things. First the hook up to your water supply. If you are able to turn off the hot water valve that feeds the unit and then select a cold water only wash, do you get cold water?? If not then someone hooked up the hoses to 2 hot water feeds. If hot and cold feeds are installed right, the second thing is your computer which monitors the incoming temp through the boards atc control and a thermister. If you select cold, and only get a hum and the cold water valve is on, you may have to clean the screens in the valve of any sediment. If no hum, and no cold, dead solenoid on valve, but that would throw an error code usually. All fills are monitored by the board and usually begin with a hot/wrm mix and then changeover to a monitored cold temp , about 70 degrees.

Kenmore HE 3.8 washer has only hot water even with cold settings

If the washer fills very slowly when you have it on a cold setting the cold water may be shut off behind you washer or possibly the hot and cold are switched. if that is not the problem then you have a relay problem with the machines electrical system.

Hot water goes into cold water washes

It is normal for the machine to cycle between hot and cold water when filling even if selecting a cold cycle. The reason for this is because even a cold cycle requires the water temperature to be 78F for the soap to break up efficiently.

During the cold months the water in your pipes is probably less than 78F so the machine will need to add some hot water to bring it up to this temperature. Basically, it is adding cold and then hot water to maintain a temperature in the tub of 78F for cold water cycles.

Hope this helps, please rate my solution.

Hot water thru out the house

The problem is solved, it was a single handle shower valve in the open hot position when my wife washed her hair, she turned the water off at the shower head. This forced hot water into the cold pipes when a faucet down the line was opened. Thnks for the help.
