Question about Philips GoGear SA178 MP3 Player
Just purchased my Go Gear - read all instructions - put CD in our computer/have Vista - CD opened a manual but did not download anything to my computer. Tried 4 times finally it downloaded a Device manager. opened it and it updated for 12 hours never finished. Is there supposed to be a program to download my photos, songs and videos ???? because I cannot find one on my computer after the CD was supposed to download the drivers/program correct? I went to the phillips web site, registered my Go Gear but must be too ignorant to use this product.
If you have Vista, you have to go to Philips website and download the updated version of the Device Manager AND you have to update the firmware on the player. If the update stuck for 12 hours, the usual reason is that you were not connected to the internet at the time (although there are other possibilities).

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
