The LG 5811 dishwasher would display the error "tE" if the thermistor has failed. Not seeing an error could mean that the controller card (PCB) has failed. Hard to tell if the heating element has failed or wiring has shorted.
To look a little further, you can see (but not remove) the heating element by removing the filter in the sump area beneath the bottom rack. Disconnect dishwasher from power first and inspect for obvious failure of element.
Gaining access to the heating element is very complicated on the LG units. You have to drop the entire sump unit after turning the dishwasher over on its top.
Recommend a service call.

I have a error code on my Hotpoint FDF 780P code reads A-10 can I fix this?

Please refer Hotpoint dishwasher error codes listed on this site.

http://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/help/fault-codes/dishwasher-fault-codes/3350-hotpoint-aquarius-fdf-dishwasher-fault-codes.html

Code A10 seems to indicate some problem with water heater or circuit involving water heater and thermostat. These are not easy to fix on your own unless you have some experience with repair of dishwashers. Some tips on fixing this are given here.http://www.justanswer.com/uk-appliance/38uhf-hi-i-hotpoint-dishwasher-fdf780-think-work.html

I would like to get a manual/guidefor dishwasher DW009H from B&Q . Drying does not seem to be very thorough at the end of the cycle. Also the code E3 is showing when finished.

E3 Error Code

Cause: The water heater element does not work properly or the filter mesh is blocked.
Remedy: Clean the filter mesh and if the problem continues please contact service

As far as a manual is concerned, I believe Hobart manufacturers your model and not B&Q. B&Q just sells the unit. You may want to locate a Hobart dealer in your location to try to get the manual. You will probably need one to fix the heater element any how.

Does not dry dishes..still wet and spotty after cycle ..already have replaced control panel..now it reads HE

The reason it would not be drying is because either the rinse aid is low or the heater element is faulty. Not sure why you replaced control panel.

HE means the heater circuit is tripping. if you are using hot water direct from the tap then the water temperature could be too hot. If using cold water then the heater element could be faulty.

You can try some diagnostics if you are confident to do so. The details are in the service manual

Error light flashing

When you switch it on can you still select the wash type ?
If you can, when you shut the door does it start the cycle normally by pumping out the sump, but then when the wash pump (the cause of the main noise during the cycle) would normally start it stops and beeps - opening the door then shows the flashing error code ?

If your symptoms are the same as above or similar, suspect the heater is stuffed. My BFI62 did the above and it turned out to be a faulty (open circuit) heater. As I had no knowledge of dishwashers at the time, I called in a repair guy. As soon as he saw the fault code he suspected the heater - seems a batch of heaters (from the USA) had proved very unreliable (apparently Hotpoint got compensation from the manufacturers because of the number of problems it caused them). The replacement was made in Germany and the repair guy said he'd not known one of those to go faulty !
The repair guy diagnosed the heater open circuit from the control panel inside the door without even removing the dishwasher from it's location. Unfortunately, I didn't have a chance to note which wires ran off the board to the heater. Changing the heater needed it out and on it's side (be prepared for quite a lot of water on the floor).

Finally, when he'd fitted the new heater, it took him two goes to get the pipes either side of it to seal properly - quite common apparently and the source of even more water on the floor !

Hope this helps.
