1st You download Webcam Driver. LUNAR WEB CAM DRIVER After this install the Webcam driver in the system. Installation of Webcam Driver Go to the control panel Click on the System Icon Click on the Hardware Tab Click on the Device Manager s Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it. Right click on it and uninstall it. After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes. Driver installation Wizard start. Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next. Driver will be install.

If you will know what is the brand of your cam you need to visit their official site. Search the model of your cam, once you are already search the model you can download the driver now. Make sure that the driver you've download are the same model of your cam. If it is hard for you to find, try to use this site. www.howtodrivers.com just search the brand name.
Best to start from scratch, remove your driver if it's installed from Add/Remove programmes.

Install driver and then connect camera when prompted.
Although I don't know what you mean by "won't accept any file name"; make sure that you install correct driver for your operating system.
