Why are we not able to see responses from peoples questions. It doesn't help us solve our problems qiuckly when u don't see answers to questions.

Id#26232117. You asked for a photo or video. A picture of the saw doesnhelp solve the problem because the problem is internally.

How do I get a quick responce to this question?


I see you posted this question 3 times, one hour ago. The response you get is not what you expect.
I even can't guess what you want, because I try to help people with questions I can answer. Most of the time the questions are technical related. I live in Europe and as a retired technician I think I can use my knowledge for other people.
This question, you are asking, should be in an e-mail, or a real letter, addressed to the firm you want an answer from.
The internet can be helpful, but it has to be used as it was meant to be used. I think you have higher expectations from the net then you have from real people. But really try to solve this problem like you used to solve this before the internet era, and you could be successful.

Sorry for my reaction it is not meant offensive. I just hope you know what to do. Call, send an e-mail, send a letter by post, or visit the website from the firm you want to reach and press the how to contact us button, but don't put down text in any website, expecting your problems are solved that way.

Up to date Fixya help


It is true that many posts are quite old, HOWEVER... I have noticed that FixYa questions/responses are updated into Google's index very rapidly. Things posted only days ago appear there. So if you answer a problem that was a bit old, there is an excellent chance that someone else suffering the same problem will find your response.

Many people have nice computers that are modern and up to date, for example. But I suspect there is an even larger number that are trying to get by with older equipment. I'm an I.T. manager and teacher at a private Christian school - no Federal dollars/etc (as it should be) for equipment or the like. So our computer lab for example still uses XP Pro on older desktops and laptops. Many other people are in similar states, trying to make it by with old computers, telephones, microwave ovens, cars, and the like.

The short answer is: If you see a question and know the solution, post it. You may not help the original poster, but there is an excellent chance you'll help someone else. Try this: Find a new question asked in Fixya in the last day or two. Google the same problem. I'll be surprised if its not already in the index if its more than a day or two old.

It all depends on the category and the difficulty of a question, most not usually taking to long depending on the activity of the site and how many people are on.

My friend, I don't know what your question is though it is obvious you are upset about something. I don't recognize your question nor your 'handle' and I don't believe I replied to you at any other time.

I can tell you that the people who answer questions here are, by and large competent and caring, reasonable people and reasonably good at what they do. Some are professional and others (like me) learned by doing; I'm just an ordinary guy trying to assist others with their troubles on my day off from the regular job. Frankly, I would like a good evaluation, but it doesn't affect my bottom line in any manner. I don't know what your problem is so I cannot make a comment to help you, except to say ...

I am sorry you are disappointed with the response you received. If you paid for your response, there are remedies for you through the site. When you opened your account, you were directed to the Terms of Use. You had to indicate you understood the terms and agreed before you could proceed. Several of the terms say basically "... be nice while you are here - no attacks please ..." I now kindly suggest to you that you return to the Terms of Use (link below) and review the method you should follow to get your money back, if you paid for anything, that is. BTW, your comment, this comment, that I am responding to, appears in the "free section" of FixYa.com. Normally, paid questions do not appear in this section.

This is the second time i am canceling account fixya did not fix my problem , a 14 yearold fixed my computer problem.

You cannot cancel your account by posting inn this section. You must look in the terms of use section and contact the web site per those insturctions.

I am a volunteer here @ FixYa.com as are all the others who respond to questions in this section. I don't know who the people who own this site are nor where they are located. So, all I can tell you is to follow the instructions they have posted in that section for your benefit.

How do you get 2 pictures on the split screen?


In response to your e-mail, I have not solved the problem, nor have I had any responses to my query. I do not want to join the Premier Assistance Plan for an answer to a simple question. I am, however, beginning to feel like your suggestion to "Let our Experts solve your problems for FREE" was perhaps a come-on to sell your plan. I sincerely hope not, as it was very comforting to think that there were still people out there who just simply like to help other people as I do. If you are unable to respond to my question for free please let me know, and I will look for answers elsewhere.
