And also note that installing several applications and themes on your phone memory will slow down your phone and after some time it ends up in this problem. So install them in memory card. Also avoid installations of screensavers clocks animated themes etc because it all stays in your ram ,so there will be lesser free memory in ram,it also can cause this message.

I have a motorola worked well for the past years.but suddenly whenever i compose a text message my phone starts to hang up and its stuck... i tried to shot it down and turn it on once

The phone stuck due to this instances

Phone memory is low that's why its getting stuck,it means, not enough memory may cause malfunction.

Solution are :

* delete unused data or files so there will be a free space on your phone memory and to be able to operate smoothly.

* Reset the phone by this procedure,go to settings > initial set-up > Master Reset or Master Clear

Master Reset - your phone settings will go back to default (no data will be deleted)
Master Clear - your phone setting will fully format. (all data of yours will be deleted) and back to original settings.

before doing master clear,be sure all of your important data must be saved before doing this method.

I hope this solution will help you. thank you for visiting fixya.

My phone keeps saying memory full.. cannot receive any messages or send messages from my cellphone..please assist me..

Hi there, In order to start sending and receiving messages again you're going to need to clear up some memory. To do this, you're going to need to go through your messages first. Clear out all your sent and received text messages. There should be a delete all option, but if there isn't, you may have to do it one by one. Once you've cleared out messages, you may want to look into deleting a lot of pictures as well. Pictures use up memory very quickly. Good luck, Alex

How do you delete the all messages from your mobil so that they cannot be retrieved. do you reset your phone or do you clear message memory??

Either way will work. If you clear message memory, only the messages will be deleted. If you reset the phone, you will also delete call history, any usage statistics, contacts, and other preferences. If you are getting rid of the phone, do the hard reset to make sure all of your data is clear off the phone.

If this helped, please help me with a thumbs up!

Delete some unnecessary files in your phone memory like images and videos. Go to your phone gallery and delete some of those. And if you want to use the memory card as phone message storage then go to Messaging - Option - Settings - Other and then Memory in Use, select your memory card.

But if your phone is infected with a virus then you need to format your phone. One sign of infection is your phone keep sending a message randomly from your contacts without your consent.

Use these code and enter it to format your phone:
*#7370# and then the default code is 12345

Take note: Make sure you back-up your contacts or any other important inside your phone.

Hope I make it clear and does makes sense.

Unabel to clear phone memory

Messages can only be stored on the internal memory of the phone and not the memory card.  The memory card is only used for media.
The best way to clear out your messages is to have a data cable or a bluetooth transmitter on you computer and install nokia PC Suite from  There is a message management program that will allow you to clean up old messages stored in your cell phone.
If that isn't possible to do, the only other choice you have is to manually delete messages from you phone.

My message indicator on my charger keeps flashing even though there are no messages.

are you sure!
you are missing something!!!..........................make sure that you have enough memory on the phone(some phone do share the memory with phone book, message, and vertually everything in the phone programmes)....
even when you browse on the phone memory is used up for saved pages, cach, cookies and others(clear all this field)

clear all phone numbers on the phone that you do not need: but then keep a written log of all numbers too.

for the message part too clear all outgoing, report, templates(those you do not need),sent or draft folders cause this also take up space.

when you are through switch the phone off and put it on again.
this should solve the problem.
let me know the outcome.
good luck
