Question about Navman F20 GPS Receiver
I have navman f series approx 6mths old, it now will switch on but only to the extent that it beeps when attached to the in-car base and light up blue but will not ''power up'' or go as far its starting sequence. I just keeo getting a pic of battery on its side or somehting ??!! Have tried the reset button. Have also had the back off and cecked the micro card as suggested on your site. Help !!!!
It sounds o me as though the battery is dead or flat - if you can get hold of a usb - mini usb cable and a usb mains charger from somebody (if you do have one yourself) get them plug it it to the mains and leave to charge for at least 12 (preferably 24 hours) - it should be working fine then. (if you do not have a usb mains adapter - plug it into a pc - but leave the pc on to charge it)
The battery is probably run down so much that it doesn't have enough juice to power up - this happens usually if you haven't used it for a while because the battery is being used up to remember where the last GPS position was.
If charging still fails to fx it - then the unit needs a new battery - contactnavman support in this case.
