I've changed the yellow ink cartridge and it won't complete the clean process. It's telling me to look in the user manual under troubleshooting and main tangency, but I cannot

Hi Tracy,

Unplug and reboot the DCP-150 C. Ensure each of your cartridges are seated properly by doing all if necessary in an order. Let it set for a couple of minutes .Power it back up and run diagnostics. Las but not least, should there have been a paper jam. Go through the order. Make sure all the droor and interlocks are satisfied by checking each one of the entry points. Simply open and close. You got this!

Here is a link for cartridge resets for a similar machine. There is a variety of help videos around this you tube link on the side bar that may suit you if this one does not. This step is tried, after, the first method of suggestion failed.

My printer does not work

You aren't giving us much to work with!
Does it have power? Is it plugged in and connected to the computer? Will it print a test page?

Why won't Brother DCP 7020 Scanner connect to computer?

Try opening the Scan function from the computer and pull it from the MFP printer instead of being at the scanner trying to push it to the computer. Your Brother DCP 7020 would have to be on the same network and installed on the computer you are trying to use. Check your usb cable, Ethernet cable or if wireless - check the Wi-Fi connection settings (network name and correct passphrase).

Brother dcp 7040 prints grey film over the page

someone cheaped out and got the el cheapo paper.
The low quality paper has paper dust on every page....
when the printer feeds this cheap paper thru the machine it drops the dust onto the tonor cartridge rollers and causes the roller to accumulate toner on the roller... this in turn is transfered to the pages being printed.
check your machines operation manual. There may be a clean cycle you can try to run to clean the rollers...
I had to buy a new toner cartridge for mine when this happened.

My brother DCP 7055 shows eror replace toner

Some Brother laser printers have separate consumables - the toner cartridge and the drum unit. From time to time you may need to replace only the drum unit and not the toner cartridge.

The error LED lights up, or an error message shows on a flat screen panel, when the drum unit is near the end of its working life. Use the drum unit until you have a print quality problem, then replace the drum unit with a new one.
