Yahoo won't send me to the mail page each time I click mail.
Each time I am in yahoo and click on mail, I get this error message "Cannot display page". Yesterday, I deleted a program that I didn't download called My.freeze because everytime I clicked onto my yahoo mail, I directed to this website wanting me to make it my homepage - so I went into my control panel clicked on add/remove programs and removed this My.Freeze prgram. Since then, I have had the above mentioned mail problem. It is also doing the same when I am in MSN and I type in my mail password. How can I reverese whatever I did or fix this loggin problem?

Use the windows Restore feature, this will restore all your settings to a point of your choice in the past.
Click on control panel, then on the left, select HELP AND SUPPORT.
Then click on; Undo changes to your computer with SYSTEM RESTORE.
This will take you back to an earlier point before you made the changes.

Yahoo! Mail is a Web-based service and it's fully
compatible with the coding languages used to design and display Web content,
including HTML and XML, Extensible Markup Language.
This means emails sent or received in Rich text or HTML
format include clickable hyperlinks, graphics and other Web design elements.
However, Yahoo! handles emails with HTML attachments in a
different way to email messages formatted with HTML.
About Yahoo! Mail Attachments
Like most email programs and online services, Yahoo! Mail
offers an attachment feature for adding images, video clips, audio files and
HTML document to email messages.
Some email programs display the content of the attached file
in the email message body, but Yahoo! Mail doesn't provide this feature for any
file attachment, whether it's an image, video clip or HTML document.
Viewing Yahoo! Mail Attachments
When you attach an HTML document or another file to your
Yahoo! Mail message, an "Attachments" button labeled with a
"Paperclip" icon appears below the email address fields and above the
email message body.
Clicking the "Attachments" button opens a pane containing a
list of all files attached to the email. The email sender or recipient can open
each attachment to view the files by clicking the file name.
When sending a Yahoo! Mail with an attachment, always
explain the content of the attachment in the main body of the email message.
A brief explanation will encourage the recipient to click
and open the attachment to view the HTML document.
Bear in mind that many email services automatically block
HTML attachments because of the security risk of opening HTML files, which can
contain viruses, phishing scams or open Web pages with inappropriate content.

Yahoo Mail allows you to use one or more alternate sending addresses (which will appear in the "From:" line of messages that you send). To set that up, you need to change your mail settings.
On the Yahoo Mail page, go to: Options > Mail Options > Accounts Then select "Add Account", and insert the new email address. (Yahoo will send a verification message to that address, to confirm that you are entitled to use it.) Be sure to click "Save changes" when you have finished.
After you set up and verify the new alternate sending address, you'll be able to select it from a pulldown menu, when sending a new message.

This is a major problem faced by many users, AFA I Know the Reason is that the time on
the sending machine was wrong – it was set Some time before in the future. It
seems Yahoo won’t accept mail sent from the future, so if you are
getting similar rejection messages check your system clock.
I hope this will help you out, IF not then you better Contact yahoo help and report this issue, because there are equal possibilities that there is some malfunctioning on the server side.

Click Options in the upper-right corner of the page and select Mail Options.
Under “Management”, click Mail Addresses.
In the box, enter an account name for your own reference (for example, Work or School) …and click Continue.
would be two boxes: In the first one, put the name you’d like others to
see when they get email from this address. In the second one, type the
Email address you’d like send from – from within Yahoo! Mail! (You’ll
be asked to verify this other address in an email we will send to you
there.) Click Continue.
you want to be able to check email in this account from your Yahoo!
account as well? (You can check your mail in clients like Outlook and
Eudora, but currently you won’t be able to check mail in other webmail
accounts with providers like Hotmail, Gmail or Yahoo. You can send from
these other addresses from within Yahoo! Mail.)
If yes, (you want to check mail in your Outlook or Eudora or similar client), skip to step 9.
no, you don't want to check mail in this account, you just want to be
able to SEND from it from inside your Yahoo! account. Click Skip this Step at the bottom of the Add Account page and continue to step 7.
On the page that opens, check to make sure you’ve entered the correct email address. If you need to make any changes, click Edit Address. If it looks fine, click Send Verification to generate the email we send to you to make sure this is an actual account you use.
The “Verify Account” page opens. Here’s the easiest way to complete your setup and start sending mail from the new address:
Leave this "Verify Account" page open.
In a different browser window or application, sign into your other Mail account.
Look for an email from Yahoo! Member Services, and open it.
the “confirmation code” in the last line of the email by either
double-clicking it or clicking and dragging over it, then either
clicking Copy from the Edit menu or pressing Ctrl + “c”. (Mac users press Command + “c”.)
back on the “Verify Account” page and Paste that confirmation code in
the box beside “Confirmation Code:” …You can paste by clicking Paste in the Edit menu, or by pressing Ctrl + “v”. (Mac users press Command + “v”.)
At the bottom of the page, click Verify Account.
A sign-in page opens with your ID already filled in. Sign in with your password.
You’re done. See the new account in the list on your Mail Accounts
page? Now you can easily send from it by opening a Compose page,
clicking the down-arrow on the end of the “From:” box, and clicking the
new account in the pull-down list of email addresses. People receiving
the message will see it as being sent from that address.
so you also want to be able to check email in this other account from
your Yahoo! Mail account? No problem. On the page you’re looking at,
enter that account’s mail server name (currently, only POP mail servers
are supported). It will be something like pop.goestheweasel.com. To
find out what it is, either search that application’s Help pages for
“POP” or “server” (or both), or contact that email provider directly.
type your user name for that account and the password. This is
completely confidential! Nobody has access to this information, but
Yahoo! Mail needs it to check the account. Note: Your user name is the text in your email address before the "@" symbol.
thought a good way to identify mail from different accounts would be to
give it a different color in your Yahoo! Inbox. So that’s what this
last part is about: pick an indicator color to mark messages received
from this account.
Click Setup Mail Server.
You should now be looking at the “Verify Account” page. Go back to Step
7 to hopskotch your way through account verification. Once that’s done,
you can do it all from Yahoo! Mail – check mail in that account and
send mail from that account.
Note: Yahoo! Mail only retrieves messages from your external (POP) mail accounts when you request it. Do this by clicking the other account’s server name in the upper-left corner of the page under “Check Other Mail”.
and from it select the form (click the page to get it), that is proper for your report.
Don't send any login information unless they ask for it (they will likely NOT ask for a password, but can ask you for your username).
This error information shows that their mail login processing scripts and possibly their database interface have been corrupted or coded incorrectly, and this is something that only they can fix, not you, the mailbox user. HTH
It is pssible to get to your mail by changing your account to Yahoo Classic. To do this you will need to go to Yahoo's home page and click on the 'Mail' link. When the "Error" 1st message comes up click OK. When the 2nd messgae appears move the "Error" message over the "having trouble loggin on" message located in the top right of the of the screen. Locate the OK button over this message. Very quickly, and I mean rapid, click the OK button twice. You may need to do this several times to time it right - it took me three times, When Yahoo's solutions appear just click in the Classic option. I am now back in touch witth the world and although it hasn't resolved Yahoo's problem yoou will, at long last be in touch. I'm not claiming to be a problem solver, I found this in Yahoo's answers.
