Question about SanDisk Sansa e270 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Broken cover I have my sansa e 270 for about one and a half year. By now I cracked my displaycover for several times until a part fell out. I don't want to destroy my display therefor I was looking for new cover. I don't mean this case to put the player in but the real cover that protects the display and the inner electronic. It would be great if anybody can tell me a place or a website where I could pay a new one. thanks, David

My heat on my 2000 jeep cherokee works but barly blows out the passenger vents

rule 1 . all cars. all electrics check the fuse in both boxes.
if it works on one vent , with full blow force, and full heat
its not the engine, the blower, or the heater temp path.
its the dampers
there are 3 technologies of dampers, cable, vacuum and motors.
some are hyrbid. mixed.
The FSM covers this. grand or not grand cherokee, big diffr that.
ill guess. your posted to grand but its a non grand so will answer for
plain jane cherokee.
i log in to alldata.com so can you!
oops yours is the VACUUM monster, and with blend door feedback
electronics. did you scan the PCM to see if it has DTCs for HVAC fails?
my online source has poor Hvac, docs. zero vacuum side. so....
FSM time.

So with all vacuum systems. the control failed to send the vacuum out to damper solenoid
the hose fell off, or is cracked.
the servo is dead, or has cracked diaphram
the damper rod fell off
the damper is jammed.
what i do with all vacuum servos; is move it by hand, got heat now>?
bingo, job half solve in 5 min work.
yes i reach up there or remove glove box, what ever it TAKES.
to touch the slave servo.

happy new year !

The pin that you screw in the tension bar fell into the body and I can not get it out.

The covers on the Husky come out in several sections with recessed larger screws. If removing the cover and bar don't give you access to where the screw fell, try the other covers. NOTE: Make sure you put the exact screws back where they came from. Some saws have different lengths, but I believe Husky is smarter than that and made them all the same.

Can MP4 folders be read by sansa 270? Folders on PC not recognised on Sansa 270... Wow to convert MP4 to Mp3 if necessary?

The simple solution is to use windows media player to add and remove songs to this device. Media player is setup to convert the songs if need be so that this device can play them.

Kodak 650H projector - won't advance. Hadn't used several years. Set up and it worked, then started advancing without me pushing a button, then just stopped advancing. I hear a little click when I push...

The wire is probably from the circuit board or the motor. The location of the wire may vary depending on the age of the projector.

But the problem you have sound like a broken solenoid "Link". The "link" connects the cycle solenoid plunger to the cycle lever in the slide change mechanism. The "link" is made of plastic and over time gets brittle & cracks. Once this happens, you will hear the noise of the cycle solenoid engaging (click), but nothing will happen. The good news is parts are still available (www.micro-tools.com). This is not an easy repair, and I would recommend contacting a factory-trained repair dealer.

My sansa e250 mp3 player just fell down, after that, when i restarted it it is just showing the blue light but not showing the display on the screen. Any help would be appreciated.

Drop it again from a similar height

OK this is going to be hard to believe....the exact thing happened to mine. It dropped about half a meter onto a concrete floor and showed up with a blue screen and wouldnt shut off.
I unscrewed the back panel and unplugged the battery hoping that it would reset. After several restarts and unplugged batteries it was still unresponsive with the blue screen of death. So like any good tech i tried to reproduce the sequence causing the failure. I dropped it onto my work bench and plugged the battery back in. Worked perfectly after that and has continued to work perfectly since (nearly a year later).
I made sure i covered it with one of those cheap silicone covers after to hopefully absorb some shock after i got it working again. After a year of brutal treatment on military exercises this is the one and only problem i've ever had with my sansa.
Good Luck

Broken screen

When it comes to issues such as cracked screens, the question comes down to two things:

1. Is the screen cracked in such a way so as to cause big issues, or so the screen cannot function at all.

2. Is my product still under warranty.

Most companies nowadays tend to ship you a new product, if yours is still under any kind of warranty. If your MP3 player isn't, It may be better to get a new one.

Hope this helps.

My best,
Rob
