Everex stepnote restarts or turns off any where i touch it

I have a everex stepnote that eather restarts or turns off, or hangs any where i touch it, i havent noticed any problems with wins vista , but i was thinking it may be the drivers, but im unsure, any ideas> greatfull for any help with this.......

restart and HOLD the keys fn +f8 go section troubleshooting and proceed witht the steps mentioned in the section and fix it.

Try to boot to safe mode by pressing F8 or F12 as soon as you power it up. If you can boot to safe mode you may be able to un-install whatever was installed.
