Question about Vizio L32 32 in. LCD HDTV
When i plug in the VGA cable to both the tv and the laptop i turn on my tv then my laptop everything is working fune until windows actually starts up then my tv says ''no rgb signal the power will be turned off'' Please if anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
This happens to almost every laptop I know. Here are several solutions:
1. You need to manually enable video on tv by pressing two buttons on your laptop keyboard. The first is "Fn" (at the left bottom). The second depends on your laptop manufacturer. Look at the function keys. F1....F12 for the LCD/CRT or the corresponding sign. Press and hold Fn and press second button. Sometimes you need to press second button several times. This means you need to cycle through all available options to enable Laptop's screen and TV screen at the same time (clone).
2. Intel Extreme Graphics video cards sometimes doesn't support a procedure described above. You need to find intel video card options manager running at the sys-tray (right bottom of your screen near the clock). Right click on it. Select Graphic Options -> Output to -> Laptop + TV clone (or something similar)
Note that not all video cards are capable of showing the movie on media player at the same time. You need to choose Laptop or TV

You must redirect the video output from the laptop screen to the TV.
It usually takes a keystroke combination, depending on your laptop it is hold the FN(function) key(lower left on keyboard close to the Ctrl and Alt key) and press on of the F1-F12 keys on top of keyboard.
You can try one combination at a time until it switches. Your FN key may have a Flying Windows icon and the F1-F12 key may have a TV icon on it.
Let me know if you get it working and please rate this solution.
