Question about Maxtor Hard Drive
Hey, I have a really serious problem with my Maxtor 1TB. I formated it once and then download some programs ( movies & music ) onto in. Then a few days later, I have to reformat it again because my computer sees it as a new harddisk. My other harddisk ( IOMEGA 120gb ) works perfectly fine. Any solutions to why it is happening? Reply with a possible solution that will allow me to get my movies & music back safely.
Get a freeware data recovery software program (google for it). Be sure not to reformat the drive or copy any other files to it.
After you recover your files, run the maxtor diagnostics on it (do a full diag procedure).

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
