SOURCE: Door Lock Clicks/Makes noises Washer does not agitate/spin

Sounds like very worn motor brushes to me, as its trying to turn the drum but has'nt the power needed to maintain any momentum, and the blinking door light is because of the bad cotact from brushes to motor.About £20 for a set of brushes or get an engineer to fit new brushes, but get a price first.

SOURCE: Maytag front loader washer--door won't open but lock light off

Open the soap dispenser. Look down in front of the fabric softener dish.
You should see a yellowy-green plastic cord (like weed-whacker line). Pull it.
The door should open.

If you don't see the cord, remove the four screws that hold the dispenser lid in place to find it. Just don't lose it when you put the cover back on.

Lights come on, door is closed, light load, but door will not lock so machine can begin filling with water. LFT7000ESO MODEL.

Good Afternoon Friend,

I understand that that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire washer, model# LFT7000ES0, and the door will not lock and begin filling with water. The model number you have provided, comes up as an invalid number. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at your home's circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your washer status has changed successfully. If you do need more assistance, I will please ask for the model number of your washer. Typically you should be able to find this located inside your appliance around the edges where the door meets your washer. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

Motor wont run

Your door lock is bad. Don't trust the door lock light because this will fool you. Even tho door locks 1 of the circuits is not continuing. Replace the door lock. Very easy to do. Do this by peeling back the door boot at the lock side. Reach hands inside for access to wiring and remove door lock switch.

Model #481027 the washer turns on lights, no water no nothing. whent through check list all working right.

The first step would be to see if your door is locking. You will hear the door lock when you hit start it makes a loud click. If the door is not locking the washer will not fill. There should be a light one the control panel that indicates when the door is locked. If the door is locking then you could be looking at Central Control Unit issues.

Usually the tech sheet can be obtained by removing the bottom panel (three torx screws or i believe 7mm metrics). It should be located on the left wall inside a plastic sheath. Looking in there and reading the manual it will tell you a keypad dance to put the machine into a self diagnostic mode and you will be able to pull up the most recent error codes. This may help you pin down the problem. .

Also check to make sure your valves for your inlet hoses are both turned on. Problem may also be with your inlet valve however not very common for a total no fill scenario.

Help! My Bosch Nexxt washer has issues.

Will your machine pump out water? If it does it sounds like a faulty module. Try this website: www.bshappliancecare.com I think it identifies the model number by another code on the washing machine so you should be able to at least positively identify what unit you have. Good luck.

Washer filled with water then stopped

Same problem- quick fix- to release door anyway. Found the service manual online...First unplug power cord and remove bottom front panel. Reach underneath on the right side of the machine- there will be a white round plastic disk that you can pull downward to release the door lock and remove your wet clothes. I found a pen lodged inside which may have caused the 'glitch'. When I ran it again it did the same thing and locked at the same place. The service guy had to replace the door lock mechanism to permanently fix the problem.

Front load washer stops and starts and door lock light remains on

You probably have a bad door latch or door interlock. Both, if defective will cause the symptoms you describe. The door must remain closed and lock before a wash cycle will begin, and for it to complete properly.
