I have the same problem. My phone won't do anything but it is fully charged. Two friends who have the same phones, one with same provider and other with another provider, get reception here. I did until two days ago. I thought maybe the battery was weak but I traded batteries with someone and mh pnone said the same thing. Could I have overloaded the memory with stored pictures, I wonder? No SIM card ever in my phone.

    Any more ideas anyone?

If both of you have the same service provider and her's is working and your's isn't..sounds like your sim or device...hav her put her sim in your device and try to make a call out..if it works we narrowed it down to the sim being the problem. You would then need to replace it.

Change service providers on Motorola Razr v3xx???

If you have an unlock phone and say for example you're now w. AT&T (cingular). Ofcourse your service will be provided from At&T, however sometimes there's gonna be a possibility that sometimes your service may upper under a different service provider. It's because all service providers sometimes borrows service for their customers from other carriers (roaming partners) if they don't have any coverage in the area, and that's what they call "roaming." However if you're question was say for example .. the phone turns on and it identifies Telstra when you turn the phone on just like when you have an at&t phone and phone identifies at&t when you turn it back on. It's only going to identify that service provider if phone cam from that service provider and unfortunately you can't change it.

I have a motorola c139 unable to send text messages,

if you call your service provider with another phone they will give you the service center number no questions asked. or get it from a friend who has the same service provider. its a regional number so its specific to your rural area.

Intermittent No service. Battery cover?

Try typing *228, and send. Select option 2 -- updating your roaming capibilities. The phone will go through a sequence of unlocking and reprogramming...DO NOT SHUT THE PHONE OFF DURING THIS PROCESS. It only takes a couple of minutes...or less...and will notify you that the phone was successfully updated. I had a similar problem a couple of years ago, and this seemed to solve it. Good luck!! I'm not sure that a battery connection problem will cause you to not have service in a solid coverage area. Did you possibly drop the phone? If so, maybe the antenna connection inside the phone is loose, and you are only getting a muted signal. There are phone repair shops that should be able to fix this, if THIS is the case. Your service provider will probably want to sell you a new phone, so they will doubtfully be of any help.

Cell phone

Hai
It seems your area is having less signal strength or its far from the mobile tower of your service provider.
Its a problem for lots of people around.
Try change the service provider or move to the nearest of the tower location.
