Must replace broken hinge/top cover, broken dvd drive and probably keyboard. Need manual to ID part and proceedures.
Here is just what you ordered. Hope this helps. Just take your time and have patience. Not very hard. Good luck and have a good day.

Ebay is where I end up finding the best parts. Sometimes I find great deals on whole cases. I don't know anyone selling Chiton style manuals. Here is a place I have bought parts from.

Thanks Rebgagnon. That's a great link for the visuals of the how-to, but I'm still in a bind for ID'ing the actual part numbers. I've spent a bit of time googling and have looked everywhere I can on the Toshiba site, but can't find a downloadable repair manual. (I'm hoping for something like a Haynes or Chilton manual PDF, but for my Toshiba.)
Any suggestions? I don't mind spending a few bucks as long as it's an actual Toshiba manual. I just don't know a good source (and the Geek Squad at Best Buy won't tell where they got theirs:))
