DVR playback in color on TV 2 playback in black and white on TV 1

Our DVR has started playing back in only black and white on TV1. Regular TV is still in color. We have done all of the standard troubleshooting and nothing has changed. Any ideas?

This is a receiver issue and will need to be replaced as the internal hardrive has an issue that cannot be resolved onsite by a technician. Thanks for using Fix Ya.

Just intalled system to new tv. the dvr works but i am not getting a signal

If you're sure everything is connected correctly check your tv input, there is a special input channel for each cable. FOR TV1: RCA: input 1,input2,video 1,video2, if you're using a coax cable: channel 3 or 4. If the problem is on TV 2 you're using a coax cable and it has to be on channel 60 or 73. For a wiring diagram you can visit the official dish website (it's on your bill) & visit the technical support page. This link is for tv1, you will also find the steps for tv2

NOT GETTING COLOUR FROM CCTV DVR TO TV BLACK WHITE

Missing information alert. What is meant by "to TV black and white"? Are you saying you can't get playback on a black and white (and therefore old, analog) TV set? What connection set up are you using between recorder and the playback TV? At first glance it would appear you might need a digital to analog converter to process the DVR output prior to feeding it as a SD (standard definition) signal into your TV set for mmonitoring. thanks for clarifiying your question, including a description of your setup.

Tv2 remote not working tv1 must be on

It sounds like the RCA cable is plugged into TV 2 ports on the back of the receiver.
Depending upon your receiver, towards the center on the back of the receiver, you have 3 rows of colored (2 - Red, White, and Yellow; 1 - Green, Blue, Red). The RCA for TV 1 should go in the middle row. Please let me know if you have further problems. Thanks.

I'm in the room and using tv 2 on dvr but I see tv1 and don't know how to go back to tv 2. So what I'm trying to say is I'm watching what tv 1 is watching.

Himarcos_and_s, my name is Mike Houston of DISH Network and I was going over yourpost and with TV2 showing what's on TV1 you want to make sure the receiver isin dual mode and if that is the case please unplug the receiver for 10 secondsto reset the receiver and you will have your TV1 and TV2 showing differentprograms. If you have any questions please e-mail me at Michael.houston@dishnetwork.com.

How do i choose tv1 or tv2 on my DVR?

Your recording will record onto your one DVR box, for playback on either tv. On many satelite boxes you have to search for the program you want by entering the name. Then select the program and select to record the future broadcast.

Problem with recording playback

i would suggest unplugging the receiver from the power outlet for about 10 seconds and then plugging it back in, do not turn receiver back on, it should come up on its own after a few minutes, if it doesnt wait another minute and then press power, it will reacquire signal and then you can try again. is this issue only effecting tv1???
