My Samsung CLP 510, has one tray. I've looked everywhere, but can find no paper jammed anywhere. I haven't used this printer for a couple of years. I wasn't thrilled with the quality of prints so I put it aside. I decided to give it another try and I can't get past this mystery paper jam. The black toner is low, but I don't want to get another until I can print anything.
I had the same problem and solved it. At my printer it was a problem of the MP-tray (multi purpose tray). There are two hinges which keep the open MP-tray in a horizontal position. One of this hinges was broken and I just received it. Just try it.

If you are facing this error their may be small bit paper jam in side There are some "micro-sensors"that detect a paper jam. There will be tiny piece of paper, or a lump of dust, inside those sensors, thus "tripping" the sensor and saying you paper jam.
To solve it : Open printer cover and check to make sure no paper or foreign objects obstructing the printer feeder If you become sure that now really there is no paper, dust or foreign objects then Turn the printer off, and disconnect the AC power-cable. Open the printer cover & now give the printer a "blow-job" by compressed air. If problem still exist then best option to contact Samsung Printers Service Provider, Your problem will be solved, I hope this solution will be helpful for you Anymore help, I am here to help Thanks
Hi Thanks for using FixYa. Paper jam is a very common problem with the printers.
First of all clean off the rubber piece that pulls the paper into the printer from the tray with rubbing alcohol, and also take a knife to the rubber piece to rough it up to create more traction.
To clear the paper jam problem you need to remove the back roller mechanism to get at paper. If still the problem persists, then check the following to resolve the issue--
1.Please check all interlocks, electrical and signal connections are seated properly. 2.Front cover, back cover and lid are closed properly. 3.Power plug and USB cable are connected. 4.Printer is turned on with switch on the back. 5.Toner signal lights sequenced, with yellow overall led on. 6.There is some noise of paper roller movement. 7.Toner signal lights all out, overall status light turned to red 8.No visible paper in paper tray or anywhere else. 9.No paper in tray---added paper 10.Waste toner container is full or not installed ---empty, installed properly.
