Re: i have a sansa e280 it works but how do you put...
Hello, You need to use Sansa media converter to add anything other than music to it. It should be in your programs list if you have run the CD that came with the player. If you have not run it, run it. Just open Sansa media converter and from here on it simply a matter of finding the files, selecting them, converting (done automatically) and adding to your mp3- all through Sansa media converter.

ok try to use itunes software or windows media player software. this may be user friendly for you. Use itunes it is best just add everything in the library then select synchronise to your mp3 player. be sure to connect and your computer detect the mp3 player. ok cheers uttam
ben there are actually two modes of transfer the player is using. The first is by choosing MSC/Rhapsody on the player. You can drag and drop songs to the player provided they are not purchase from any online music stores like rhapsody, bestbuy music, or walmart.com. The other mode is MTP/Plays for Sure you can transfer songs to the player using windows media player 11 software or any mtp softwares. You can use this link for more instructions
http://sandisk.com/sansa/ then choose support then softwares and user manual then choose your model then on the right window click on the link How to Videos.
You dragged & dropped files in recovery mode?
Recovery mode is only for re-installing the firmware or formatting the device if it is unresponsive.
If you are wanting to drag and drop files onto the device, the music needs to be put into the Music folder on the device.
If you do not see the Music folder, you will need to enable hidden files and folders on your PC.
Best of Luck.
p.s. - you can add to this question this doesnt work.
