Consider NOT connecting your camera to your computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive, the same way you copy any other files. Or you can use any photo cataloging program such as Picasa.

SOURCE: Transferring pictures from computer to camera

Hi Mike. The only way I can think to do this, is with an separate card reader. Then you could take your SD card and load back and forth, from your computer to camera (and vice versa).

hope this helps!

SOURCE: My camera won't transfer pics to the computer and

If you have Windows (I don't know about Mac OSs), go to Control Panel/Cameras and scanners -- there you will find a Wizard to use in copying your photos to your hard drive. OR open My Computer and see if there is a new drive listed there -- if so, that is your camera, so you can open that file and do as you wish with the photos.
You can go to your camera's webpage and download the drivers that come on the installation CD too.

My computer shows pics are downloading to my HP A526 photo printer but the printer tells me to insert memory card. What do I do?

Make sure that the printing action is selected only for the right configuration and setting including the format and file type. If the file is too large to be printed it can show up as a error or an insufficient memory to back up. Alternatively you can check with another PC or reinstall the printer once again.

I cant load my pictures onto the computer. it says there are no new pictures to find

If you're sure the pics are there, just get a card reader to download them. Once you use one, you'll never use the camera again.

Dont know how to upload pics to computer

after connecting your camera, power it up. the computer will then prompt new hardware found and is ready to use. in most cases, the camera will be treated as another disk in your computer (like usb disk). go to my computer and check if there is a removable devices listed. open that drive then you may start to copy and paste it on any folder of your computer.

the camera should also come with a cd, which you may install in your computer.

I cant upload my pics!!

Does your camera supports memory card? If it support then directly insert your card into card reader and take your pics. Or else try to reset your camera. If this also doesnt work for you then try to first remove the old software and reinstall it again then restart and try again it will work!

Won't download

This seems like a card or software error.
If you are using the camera software[from the disc] to upload the images- remove the software[Start/ControlPanel/add/delete software]
Windows does not need software to perform this task.
If that fails
Invest in a USB card reader and always use that to down load images.
