Put the macbook in a warm and dry place for a few days. If that doesn't help open the macbook and clean/brush and dry it out as much as you can. Here's a guide on how to disassemble a Macbook. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you. If you want to pay to have a service do it for you there are third party Repair Services.

By all means do not turn it on.....u might fry something. Leave it in a dry hot area for like 2 says. Then you might have to take it to Apple because Mac's are very very picky about water, i spilled coke and it fried it!

I mistakenly formated it and its not booting

so the screen doesn't even light up? a format shouldn't result in that. first, make sure the battery is charged (either by plugging in the charger and seeing if it turns green, or pressing the button on the side of your mac) if the battery is working, i would open the macbook up and lay it on the table (in sunlight if possible) with the very top of the screen and end of the keyboard part touching the ground (making a triangle, tent thingy). in case there was water damage, this will help to dry it out.

Stuck Cd

A few ways of doing this

restart mac and press down the trackpad after you hear the startup noise

if that does not work try opening up disk utility and click on the icon of your disk under the left hand column then go up to eject button and click eject

or open up terminal found in the utilities folder within your applications folder and then type in
drutil tray eject and then press return

Finally what to do is try pick up your macbook tilt the macbook to the one side and press the eject key and hopefully the effect of gravity will allow the CD to fall out.

One other way to do it which I have used recently but IT CAN BREAK THE CD DRIVE (Use it at your own risk), so only use it as a last resort. Get a thin piece of plastic (or credit card) and put a piece of double sided tape on it then with the macbook switched off insert the piece of plastic with the tape facing down in relation to the keyboard. Put it in about half an inch and you may be able to drag one of the CDs out. Hope it helps.

STEPS ON HOW TO TROUBLESHOOT MY LAPTOP THAT FELL INTO WATER

As long as you didn't try to turn it on yet AND it was NOT on when it fell in to the water there is a chance it will still work.

Pull the battery, put it in a big container and fill\cover it with rice. The rice will absorb the moisture. Leave it in there for at least 5 days straight and then try it. But just in case have a fire extinguisher ready.

This works with cell phones, maybe you'll get lucky.

I spilled water on my MacBook. Now it won't turn out

First thing is to not try powering the laptop on after the water fell on it. Next, you should remove the battery off the laptop immediately. When this is done, you should fully disassemble the laptop & thoroughly inspect its inside. Look for any traces of water on the circuit boards & on other components. On circuit boards, water damage appears in the form of whitish traces. These needs to be wiped off. This can be done using a tooth brush moistened with few drops of hand sanitizer liquid.
Check all internal connectors & make sure that no water seeped into them. Dry them if needed.
When you are done, re-assemble back the laptop.
If the water fell on the keyboard & you found out that the keyboard is no longer working, then you will have to replace the keyboard.

PowerBook G4 won't eject cd by any means found on apple support

If you can hear that it's trying, it might be getting pinched while trying to eject, especially if something pressed down on the case at that spot. Try gently widening the opening with a flat head screwdriver while you are ejecting the CD. just put the driver in and twist a bit to widen the slot. Also, check to make sure that the fuzzy stuff that brushes off the disk when you insert it - and keeps out dust - hasn't been damaged. If it is partially missing, the missing part may be inside, keeping the CD from ejecting.
