I have just had my cable provider - Shaw install their new Gateway system and now my remote will not work It will turn on the tv but not change channels or change the volume Another question re my LCD TV AT3705-DTV - I guess I need a code for it too as the new remote won't work

I had that problem, I sent it to repair, because it was on warranty, they told me that they had to flash its BIOS again, so, that is a software problem. That was in my case, I hope can help you. Sorry for my english.

I repaired my Acer by replacing the power supply from

Acer would not sell me a replacement power supply.
Note: I needed to solder wires the new power supply to the old one,
the pinouts on the connectors on the new one would not fit the original.

I currently own an Acer AT2001 21 inch Television/Monitor. The refresh rate on your computer should be set to 60Hertz. You can change this setting by right clicking the desktop, click properties, click settings, click advanced, click adapter, click list all modes, click 800by600 at 60Hertz. The screen resolution will not go above 800by600. Note; Initialize these settings with an old crt monitor and then plug in the Acer.
