Most likely its the ignition wire.. That 12 volt line let's it know when the switch is turned.. If the radio is cutting on it may simply be interfering either that or its too much with the control wire this is why its better to get the one in the dash and run the video moniter off the aux video out instead of trying to run 2 separate units
This unit was not designed to be used while the car is in motion. Your parking brake must be in the engaged position in order to view the monitor. The brake wire must be hooked up to the parking brake wire or grounded in order for this function to work properly.
, the message you are getting is "amp guard". This is the mesage it will
display when a short in a speaker wire or speaker with low impedence is
hooked to the internal amp and sends it into protect mode, shutting
down the amplifier section while the rest of the unit continues to work.
check all of your speakers
and the audio only should be that your handbrake is not up or check the grass green wire connect it to ground and this will allow you too watch dvd's whilst u drive
Your problem is a common one. The spindle motor is going bad or is bad, and/or you need to clean the laser lens. The only way to fix this would be to take out the unit and hook it up to a test harness. If you do not have a test harness you will need to seek out an authorized repair depot to do this for you. good Luck
