My pump stopped working yesterday after I heard a single pop sound.
I've had theses pumps for 3 years they were installed with the pool.
I'm wondering if what I heard was some kind of mechanism switching off.So I'm wondering if there is some kind of reset swicth on the pump and if so where is it located.
I don't know if I should just buy a pump or pay someone $100.00 to come look at it and tell me I need a new one.
Can you also help me find the Jacuzzi Bros. manufaturer to help me with the warranty issues ?
Thanks Tenvix
The pop you heard could have been the start up capacitor if bump on top of motor its in there if no bump then inside back cover to motor
I have a simple clean white river pool pump that went off and will not come back on is there a reset switch I would really Appreciate some help
No jacuzzi magnums do not have a reset button. First make sure breaker to pool is off, then remove rear motor cover, and take a look. Popping noise sounds like an arked wire. Could be a bad terminal or just aloose power wire. JACUZZI PUMPS ARE GOOD QUALITY, AND USSUALLY RUN FOR MANY YEARS. Pump can be removed for repaair, or motor replacemant by a qualified, and republe pool shop, for rebuilding Ussually rebuilding is about half the cost of new. Kirk
