When I start windows 7 my wireless mouse doesn't work! I have to connect an old wired mouse then go to 'device manager' and remove a USB input device displayed with a yellow exclamation mark and scan for hardware changes where it discovers wireless mouse and reinstalls it, after that it works perfectly until next restart. This annoyance is really bugging me now can anyone suggest a permanet fix for this without having to bin the mouse altogether!
You have an outdated driver their. When you uinstall and detect the mouse, it automatically installs the generic driver which will work but will surely stop the next time you try to use it.
You can fix that by installing the latest drivers for your computer. You can find the drivers in the manufacturer's website or you can use RadarSync to automatically scan all outdated drivers. You don't need to find them manually. With just a press of a button, all drivers will be updated.
I hope this helps!

I suggest that you run the Windows 7 Hardware Troubleshooter on the computer and
check to make sure that the mouse is ok.
1. Click Start.
2. Type in Troubleshooting
in the Start Search.
3. Click on Hardware and
Sound.
4. Click on Hardware
Devices.
Now check if that fixes the issue or not.
If the issue still persists, then I suggest that you install the latest
drivers manually from the link and install the same and check.

Cutting down on the number of wires
that must be tolerated in a work station adds to maneuverability and
ease of location. For all their convenience, though, wireless
accessories bring with them a number of issues not present in their
wired counterparts, most significantly battery change.
