Sansa e260 is dying.....

Lately, my Sansa has been freezing and the screen changes colors and it pretty much dies. So, I plugged it in, to put music on it, and the refresh database thing came up when I unplugged it. And.. it dies. So, I reset it, and it still dies, and does it when I plug it in. What do I do?

it dies , the screen is very bright i can hardly see the words barly but it isn't the brightness control it doesn't fix the promblem. It just stays the same . And it won't let me play somesongs cause it says i have to connect to the computer and review it. Which i don't understand why, I have connected it to my computer but it doesn't fix the promblem. So i was wandering what to do with it and how to fix it, and it also freezes when im clicking on a song to play it will sometimes freeze and i can't get it unfrozen. So i have to let the batterrie run down on it.

I had the same problem. try loading all your music on your computer and deleting it from the player. then, load your empty player and it should work fine.

Try inserting a(n) SD chip into the player and then try restarting. If it gets stuck on the refresh database screen, plug it into your computer. It's the only thing that unfroze my e280.
