When I reach the point where the drivers are installed (installing from CD) it asks me to plug in the webcam. When I do it just keeps asking me to plug in.
The device manager recognises the device as a 2.0 USB device in 'other devices' and can't find the drivers when I try and search for them. The device status is classed as code 28 drivers not installed.
I've tried downloading a driver but it gets to the same point where I'm asked to plug in the cam but it doesn't register and just keeps asking. Other USB devices work okay (printer, wireless internet adapter).

Try disconnecting the Camera from the USB port and reinstall
the CD or Downloaded software program. When the program asks you
to connect the camera to the USB port, do so and it should work.
Hope this helps. Bud
There are a number of things that can cause the camera to
freeze up the computer or the camera. First I’d check to see how much memory is
installed in the computer.It takes
additional memory to operate the camera.
Hope this helps.Bud
