Empty out the dish trays, **** out as much water you can from the sump. Unplug the power, water supply and drain line. Pull unit out from bench, and place it face down on a old blanket, and soak up residue water as you do so. This will get you underneath the unit. Remove three screws and the cover plate, which exposes the pump units. remove the smaller pump unit from the sump, by removing it's one screw. Turn pump a 1/4" anti-clockwise and remove. Check O-ring seal is in place and in good condition. With a pair of pliers, remove the drain hose and clamp. Take a screw driver and rotate the impellor, check for **** etc. Blow out with compressed air if you can. Get a torch, and look into the back end of the internal pump unit, you will see a white plastic fan. Take a small screwdriver, and carefully rotate the fan to ensure pump is free to rotate. If not, remove and clean. Assemble the lot, vacuum out dust, dead mice etc. and close unit up. Re-connect hoses and power. Put dial into the "R" position, and turn on. It will beep a few time, then go to your selected cycle, and it should hopefully go, mine did.

How to repair - no water is entering the dish waterr

Your dishwasher is equipped with a safety system which is able to detect any operating problems. These anomalies are reported by
one or two wash cycle indicator lights "E" will flash rapidly.

Any flashing combination of LED diodes (Intensive wash, Regular wash, Eco wash, Rapid wash, Soak and Crystal care) means different error code. Take a note of which lights are flashing?

If you have problem with fill water than following two LED should be flashing.24428775-0h3kxpflbez5mdeb5anq3st4-3-0.jpg
In this case could be:
  • Water valve disabled
  • Turbine disabled
  • Control board faulty

Ariston LS 2020 taking more than two hours to go through cycle.

Ariston and on and on...lol

The water temp thermostat is to blame or the water is not heating.Basically what happens is the washer fills with cold water and starts to wash and heat at the same time.Once the water reaches a certain temperature it moves onto the next stage of the wash program. If the water is not heating or the thermostat is not working the programmer wont get the signal to move on.Hope this helps.
