Question about Maytag LSE7806A Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer

Rumbling in dryer

There is a low rumbling sound in the dryer that starts when you start the dryer and then it continues momentarily after you stop it. It is as if a wheel is loose or still spinning after the dryer stops (disengaged somehow) How do I get in there to see what it is... I removed the bottom panel but I can't see the problem from there...

Replace your blower wheel. (This is fairly common repair for some Maytag dryers) It is not too hard to do. If you can confirm your model number I can give you a part number and tell you how to get to it if needed.

Electrolux EWW16489W Washer-Dryer rumble

It is difficult to assess without a visual check. Based on your description there is circulation pump (not drain pump) which can produce strong sounds when is defective or clogged and the like. So it should be open and visually check if is correct one.

I have a stackable washer/dryer gas maytag. Purchased around 17 years ago. The dryer is not drying clothes. Gas is powered fine and it is heating up. The cycle seems shorter than normal

The problem with it not drying is most likely going to be a worn out blower wheel thats slipping and not moving the warm air through the clothes to dry them properly. Always a pretty good sign the blower is slipping is,if you hear a rumble noise from the dryer at start up and also that same rumbling noise when the power stops. So if you hear it at start up...wait 30 seconds and open the door and listen for the rumble noise as drum stops. also you can check where the vent exits the house and see if their is air flow when the dryer is running.

There can be many reasons why your dryer will not start or turn...

The most common causes are the belt breaking or jumping off, or the motor going bad...

Here are a couple of tips that I wrote will help you to figure out why your dryer will not run...

My indesit washing machine stops in the middle of spinning making a loud rumbling noise and all the lights start flashing, i've cleaned the filter I don't know what else to do

Sounds your cloths is getting of balance. There is a sensor sensing that. Take your cloths and even it them out, instead of off one side. If it continues to do it sounds like it could be the timer.

Clothes dryer will start, but won't stay on when button released

Could be a number of issues really.  Motor is what I have found to be a problem, the start windings work, but the run windings wont.  Also it could be a timer causing the problems as well.  Both of these cost a bit of money to replace.  Be sure to check the door switch (not usually a problem), buit check it to be sure.  Let me know what you find out, but sure sounds like a motor issue.  If I come up with any other ideas, I will write them right to you.   Jim

PS Also try and check all your wiring inside to be sure something hadn't come loose.  Forgot about the whole moving thing.  Let me know if I can help you with anything else, like getting into the cabinet, etc.   Jim

Noisy dryer

Don't turn the tub to much this may make the belt run off track . If the machine makes a rumble at the beginning and at the end or when u stop the machine and restart it it is probably the blower wheel,it is made of plastic ans wears out on the motor shaft.
