Question about Maytag LSE7806A Top Load Stacked Washer/Dryer
There is a low rumbling sound in the dryer that starts when you start the dryer and then it continues momentarily after you stop it. It is as if a wheel is loose or still spinning after the dryer stops (disengaged somehow) How do I get in there to see what it is... I removed the bottom panel but I can't see the problem from there...
Replace your blower wheel. (This is fairly common repair for some Maytag dryers) It is not too hard to do. If you can confirm your model number I can give you a part number and tell you how to get to it if needed.

Could be a number of issues really. Motor is what I have found to be a problem, the start windings work, but the run windings wont. Also it could be a timer causing the problems as well. Both of these cost a bit of money to replace. Be sure to check the door switch (not usually a problem), buit check it to be sure. Let me know what you find out, but sure sounds like a motor issue. If I come up with any other ideas, I will write them right to you. Jim
PS Also try and check all your wiring inside to be sure something hadn't come loose. Forgot about the whole moving thing. Let me know if I can help you with anything else, like getting into the cabinet, etc. Jim
