Gmail App doesn't work on my Motorola A1200... (by 4 users)

In my moto a 1200 while trying to open gmail it states turn ur browser cookies on n in actual they r on in the settings so dnt knw what the problem is may be with opera browser,and even the pictures could not b seen at times in few sites

same deal here.basically it tells me that the program requires a data connection. however, i do, and it is unlimited and i can access the net obviously because i just downloaded the app on my phone.
