I have tried assisting through the chat twice and once I couldn't see the customers response on my end and the next time while chatting the window closed by itself. This is certainly leading to a bad customer experience even if the resolution is later given adding comments.Plz help and point to the possible causes. coz other wise in the regular provide assistance option I don't face any such technical issue and it doesn't happen with any of my chat utilities installed on my system. please help.

Re: Issues with Fixya chat?
There.. thats the problem. I was having issues with IE too. Download and install mozilla firefox 3. Before you install it remove the expert utility, then install firefox and install the expert utility again. All your chats will open in FF from then on and you should have no problems.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I'm sorry, but we currently do not have any system like that. It is, however, a great suggestion and something that I will propose to my bosses. I think that in the meantime, there is no need to wait as long as you have been. I think that if the customer does not respond to your posts for 15 minutes or so, you can assume that they have been disconnected.
