When I try and sign in it says it cannot access that web page or sometimes it say Bad Request. I have talked to Comcast about it and they say it is a problem in the computer. They can access my e-mail and I can access it from another remote location, but not on my computer. I have tried everything from clearing the cache, disabling virus protection, downloading Internet Explorer Version 7, etc. Do you have any idea? If you send me an e-mail with a solution, I can't access it. My phone number is 662-890-7444
Same problem - just started when Comcast changed their email setup. I can access my email through one computer but not my laptop.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

I assume you wish to access email in a different Yahoo! Mail account. Yahoo! allows you to access only one account at a time. To sign in as a different user, you must first sign out from the account you are currently accessing.
To sign out from Yahoo! Mail, click on the "Sign out" link in the upper left corner of the web page:
Then go to the Yahoo! Mail page (http://mail.yahoo.com), and sign in with the new user ID and password.

Try this: sign on to the home page at http://www.comcast.net
Then in the browser address bar enter mailcenter.comcast.net then click
on Go or hit Enter. If the web mail page opens this almost certainly
indicates a pop up blocker was preventing the web mail page from opening
when you clicked on the email button.
You should be able to configure the pop up blocker to allow all
comcast.net web pages.
you should be able to either click on "sign in" under the web search box or click on "yahoo mail" from the list on the left hand side of the page(if we are talking about the same yahoo home page) Hope that helps!
FYI, I use Thunderbird as my mail client and rarely access the mail via the ISP site. You can try that. Your pop setting should be mail.comcast.net Your SMTP settting should be mail.comcast.net Set it up with your username and password and check it out. You may have to tell the program to use the same username and password for the SMTP server as the incoming mail.
Is it just this page that is affected? Can you open other web pages? Try logging out of Yahoo Mail and signing back in (if you can). Can you access that web page via a different browser (Firefox, Opera, Safari, etc.)? Also, try clearing your cookies, browsing history and temporary files and then go to that page again.
Did you try adding an additional email account?, I have comcast. You may have lost the settings for your POP3 account. Go into outlook if that is what you are using and check the settings. The settings may have been changed .If nothing works, delete the account, and start from scratch, on your comcast home page it will give you the settings to use for the incoming and outgoing mail servers. If that dosen't work let me know, It may be some kind or malware or other junk that one encounters on the internet.
