Question about Fisher Paykel EcoSmart GWL15

Fisher and Paykel Ecosmart continually gets off balance

Have had washer for going on two years and have this reaccuring problem from the beginning that the machine will become unbalanced no matter how balanced we make the load. Have found the right rear support rod stuck compressed after loads and had to manually unstick. Have verified with service tech on two occasions that system is level. Have instructed service tech to order new spring rods and problem went away for 6 month's and then returned. rotated rods and problem went away for a few weeks. Have not put another call due to it now being out of warranty and the techs in this area have very little knowledge of this unit and I am the one leading the troubleshooting when they get here.

are washer will continually go out of balance, and now we can't even get the machine reset to think that it is balanced.

We have had four service calls for this problem. The first call replaced the "tub suspension rods" (look like shock absorbers). It stiffened the tub movement but . . . Next call the tech was to have replaced the "feet" but the new feet sent did not fit the "washer wrapper." The tech was told by F&P to "redrill out the wrapper and retrofit the feet." The tech refused and ordered a "new wrap" to fit the new feet! The tech claimed a new wrap was made from a heavier gauge metal and would stop the vibrations causing the unbalanced movement of the machine. Now we are fighting F&P over replacing a three part motion and balancing sensor that seems to be the culprit . . . Supposedly, the machine is to stop after three attempts to correct the out of balance load. Our's does not stop. The machine actually "walks" and bangs up against the walls and sides of the dryer that is next to it. The tech "thinks" the motion and balancing sensor may be faulty but has yet to get F&P to approve its replacement. I'm about to video the problem and post it on YouTube! In the meantime, my wife is about ready to go "postal" on Lowes as she has spent 5 hours every Sunday for the past 4 Sundays doing laundry at the local laundramat at $50 per Sunday feeding washers and dryers . . . Did I mention our F&P Dryer - model DEGX2 just burned out its third heating element in less than a year? We're waiting on parts for that to be fixed as well!

At the very top of the bowl is a fluid filled balance ring, I would say that all the fliud has leeked out into your wash over time and now you fluid level is low or dry , what i did is drilled two 8mm holes one on each side of the balance ring then pumped it full with 5 tubes of cheap and nasty grey plumbers silicon (only inject in one side to avoid air bubbles in bal ring keep pumping until the whole ring is full let half a tube or so squirt out the other side to get rid or air bubbles , let it dry for 48 hours cut the silcon flush with a sharp knife then all sweet as bro .

Our gwl11 fisher paykel washer will start to fill for about 5 seconds then stops

This is either your lid switch not working or your out of balance switch the latter being located under the large motor controller board under the controll panel. That should fix it.Kind Regards Stefan.
