Sergers are... well can be a pain. "Lower looper thread keeps breaking." Ok... so Here is what I Would do. Get your magnifying glass out and really get in close with a good light and look for burrs on the looper. Also look for burrs on the throat plate, etc. If you find one use some very fine sand paper and carefully smooth it off.
If that doesn't help or fix it. Take it in to a repair shop and tell them what's going on. you might need it timed too. Good luck
Did you try uninstalling the webcam device in the Device Manager? Or try reinstalling the drivers. If it is only the display that is not working, but the sound is, it could also help if you reinstalled DirectX. Further webcam troublshooting ideas here.
Are you using Flash Player on MSN? This sounds like you need to turn on access from the flash player setting menu. This sounds like another issue with the latest update of flash player. Also, you might try 'unchecking' the box for 'use hardware acceleration' in the flash player settings.
sounds to me like there are other issues with your windows operating system. run a full diagnostic with norton system works to correct the problem, if it doesnt fix it, then i suggest you return the webcam and get something better :D
