Found Ipod nano 2GB on the floor and Can't upload any new music!

Hey.. Ok.. so I was walking the gritty city of nyc and I found a 2GB silver Nano. I tried looking through it to see if I found the owners info (cuz I would've surely returned it).. but nothing was there. Well.. I guess it was my lucky day or something.. but now I can't seen to open Itunes on my mac when the IPOD is connected to it. Is it because it's a private device?  How can I crack this IPOD to make it my own? Can someone pleaseeee help!? thanks :)

1. use iTUNES to update firmware. (plug in ipod, THEN start itunes, that way itunes should connect)

2. if that doesn't work, you'll have to have it jailbreaked. That'll cost you under $20 if you find the right person. Craigslist will help ya find that person. Don't spend more than 20 bucks to jailbreak any iphone or ipod. That's just a scam there.

Cant get music on Ipod

Apple, the maker of the Ipod, requires you to use "iTunes" software to upload, transfer, and buy songs for your iPod mini. The software installation cd should come with your iPod, if not, you can download it at www.apple.com then going to downloads.

Hope this helps, have a great day! ^_^

Nano goes blank

Reboot your Ipod by holding down on the center button while holding down on the menu button.

This should reboot your IPod.

If that doesn't work plug your Ipod into Itunes and restore your software back to factory settings. Make sure that battery if fully charged as well.

Video

Greetings,
There is no way to update your old Nano to play video. There is no video processing chip, and the screen is not of a high enough resolution. My second generation ipod with a black and white screen also shows the option for music videos, its just due to the iTunes software.
Take Care
