Question about HP Wireless Optical Mouse
My wireless optical mouse does not work. the red light is on, the usb connection lights up, but i can't get the mouse to work. the cursor will not move. I've tried changing the batteries with no success.
LOOK FOR A BUTTON TO RESET THE MOUSE AND THE USB CONNECT SHOULD ALSO HAVE A RESET SWITCH ON THE USB CONNECT YOU NEED TO PUSH BOTH AT THE SAME IME SO THE CAN GET INSINK OR THE CHANNEL TO SET. SOME TIMES THE MOUSE HAS TO BE TAKEN APART AND CLEANED JUST LIKE THE OLD MOUSE BALL ONE, AND RESET THE MOUSE SETTING IN CONTROL PANAL, UPDATE DRIVE MAY ALSO HELP IF THERE IS ANY NEW FIXS
PS SOME TIMES THE LEAD TO THE BATTARY CONNECTION NEED THE THE SPRING PULLED OUT A LITTLE OR THE OTHER END WITH METAL TAB ON IT NEEDS PULLED OUT BECAUSE THE PLAY IN THE BATTERY COMPARTMENT IS LOOSE AND THE CONNECTION IS INTERMITTING A VOLTAGE CHANGE AND CAUSES THE MOUSE TO LOOSE ITS SIGNAL TO THE TRANSMITTER OR SET FREQANCES.
