Question about ATI RADEON 7500, PCI Video Card
I'm trying to install an ATI Radeon 7500 PCI video card (128Mb) into a Dell Inspiron 1100. The PC specs are as follow...
There is no display at all on boot-up. This is with the LCD connected to its original on-board connection or the ATI card. I also tried the DVI connection with no results. The display comes back when the ATI is removed. I've tried upgrading the chipset, the BIOS version is as high as it goes, and I installed a higher-voltage power supply - no-go on all of this.
Any help is appreciated.
TRY ANOTHER VEDIO CARD.
IT MAYBE COMPORT ERROR AND IRQ INTERMITTING PROBLEM, TRY A DIFFERENT IRQ SETTING, DISABILE COM PORTS, WHAT ELSE ARE YOU USING, MAYBE CONFLICT WITH SOME OTHER DEVICE IN THE COMPUTER, GO INTO CONTROL; PANAL, LOOK IN THE FOLLOWING FOLDERS, DEVICE MANAGER, NETWORKING AND SHARING, PROBLEMS AND SULATIONS, PROBLEMS AND REPORTS, ADDING NEW HARDWARE,WIREWALLS AND SECURITY AND OR ANTI VIRUS PROGRAM WINDOWSS AND INTERNET ONE TOO
LAST GO INTO SERVICE AND DISABLE, COMPORTS, SECURITY CENTERS, WINDOWS DEFENDER, WINDOWS FIREWALL, ANY SYMANTEC FOLDERS,
AFTER YOU GET IT TO WORK THAN GO BACK TO SERIVE AND URN EACH ON BACK ON UNTIL YOU FILE THE FILE THAT IS GIVING THE PROBLEM AND WORK AROUND IT OR FIND OUT WHAT PART OF THE PROGRAM THAT IS GIVING THE VEDIO CARD HAVIC.

Hi steve, either the video ati 7500 is not compatible with your motherboard, which is very unlikely... its a big possibility that your video card is defective
